Island Boyz 7v7 is a league for skill position players (QB, WR, RB, DB, LB) that is played during the football off season in the Winter and Spring. If you are a skilled player or interested in becoming one, then 7v7 is a MUST!
​
Island Boyz 7v7 League will consist of 4 Divisions and players will be placed based on their age as of August 1, 2026. The Divisions are as followed:
8u (7 and 8 years old)
10u (9 and 10 years old)
12u (11 and 12 years old)
14u (13 and 14 years old) ​​​​

TRYOUTS REGISTERATION:
-Winter Travel and Local Spring Tryout Registration is NOW OPEN for 12U and 14U ONLY until December 5, 2025 for regular registration. Late registration will be open from December 6th- December 20, 2025. Tryouts will be held January 11, 2026 (2pm-4pm) at JICHS. There is a $10 Tryout fee. Rosters will be announced no later that January 13, 2026. Practice will begin the week January 12, 2026 after roster announcements. (Practice times will be either 5:00-6:30PM or 5:30-7:00PM if held on a weekday or 2:00PM-3:30PM if held on the weekends. TBA) Registration link is open. CLICK THE LINK BELOW to register. ($50 will be added for online late registration. In person day of tryouts late registration fee will be $75)

7v7 2026 SEASON PRACTICE AND TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE POLICY:
-Season for 12U and 14U ONLY will be from January to April 2026 with All-stars for selected players in May 2026! ALL 12u and 14u players will play in both Winter and Spring league.​​​​
​
-7v7 Practice Schedule will be 2 to 3 days a week (1.5 hour practices) at JICHS practice fields. Tentatively scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays with a possible weekday. Practice schedule is subject to change.
-Travel Tournaments will be from January-March 2026. Each tournament will be either a one or two day tournament on Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Tournament times will be released the Thursday or Friday prior to the scheduled tournament . (7v7 Tournament schedules are subject to change). Each team usually plays 3-4 games each tournament except for elimination tournaments. Pool play is played on Saturdays and then elimination is played on Sundays until there is a tournament champ for each age group.

TENTATIVE TRAVEL SCHEDULE FOR 12u AND 14u 2026 WINTER TRAVEL WILL BE AS FOLLOWED:
-Slaughterhouse Jamboree (Charleston, SC): January 17
-BEA 7V7 Tournament (Columbia, SC) January 24-25
--NLG Tournament (Myrtle Beach, SC): February 14-15,
-Blazing 7v7 Southeast Regional Qualifier (Charlotte, NC) February ​28-March 1 2026
-Outlaws Tournament (ARHS Summerville): March 14-15
-Prep Redzone Tournament 12U and 14U (Rock Hill, SC): March 21-22,
​Top Gun National Tournment 8U and 10U (Fort Dorchester): March 28​
-Local Tournaments will be held within the Charleston Tricounty Areas. There is a tentative Preseason 7v7 Tournament that is scheduled for the last Saturday in March 2026. Spring 7v7 Tournaments will be every Saturday in April 2026. Tournament times will be released at the beginning of the Spring season. All Star LCFG 7v7 Tournament is tentatively scheduled for May of 2026. 7v7 Tournament schedules are subject to change
-ALL PLAYERS are REQUIRED to attend ALL PRACTICES and TOURNAMENTS. While dual sports are not discouraged, if a player cannot commit to 99% practice and 7v7 tournament commitment, it would be advised to not join the team. Family emergencies and illness will be excusable absences.

TEAM REGISTRATION FEE:
-The 2026 registration fee for 7v7 Travel and Local League is $450 Registration Fee for entire season (January 2026-May 2026) once you make the team. $150 security deposit to secure your spot on the team or pay in full. We also offer payment options to break down your fee into 4 payments available on our website. (subject to approval)

7v7 SPECTATOR FEE AND HOTEL LINKS​

TRAVEL SPECTATOR FEE 2026:
-Spectators can expect to pay $20-30 per person for a weekend admission pass. Admission fee varies per tournament. Parents to bring lawn chairs, tents, wagons, and great cheering spirit to each tournament.

If you are interested in coaching for our 7v7 8U and/or 10U league, please fill out the Coaches interest form by clicking the link below. Please note, if you coached with Lil Trojans for the 2025 tackle season, you will still need to complete the coaches interest form for 7v7. However, you will not be subjected to another background check. Only coaches who did not coach during tackle will be subjected to a background check for 2026 Winter/Spring 7v7.
